to support the olive sector in Idlib countryside for 15 villages in the regions of Maarat and Ariha, which are classified among the severe areas according to the food security report, through the rehabilitation of agricultural holdings of olive trees, raising the level of productivity in them, supporting the resilience and ability of olive farmers, and thus improving the livelihood of families Targeted, and provide agricultural training taking agricultural training as a priority to improve productivity and means of income.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The project will also support and enhance the role of local agricultural committees in providing coordination and knowledge to agricultural working groups and workshops during the project, as well as cooperation with the Rural Women&#8217;s Association to support its role in supervising project activities and providing knowledge and awareness of agriculture to the targeted beneficiaries during the project period.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">SADAD\u2019s technical and technical team will work in cooperation with agricultural offices and units to provide project inputs that focus on improving food security and supporting livelihoods through:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Improving food security by increasing the productivity of 3,000 hectares of olive trees owned by 1,500 women-headed families (up to 0.5 hectares or less of cultivated olive holdings) through the provision of high-quality agricultural services (2 dunums on average per family) as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Capacity building and training for (60 service workers -135 pruning workers) during the project.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8211; Improving livelihoods and creating income-generating opportunities for 615 males and females by providing them with a service (money for work) as a result of carrying out the agricultural activities of the project<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SCHF The project aims to support the
