The project to improve the resilience of the affected IDPs and vulnerable host population through the distribution of free bread in Jenderes sub-district works to increase the resilience of the IDPs and residents in areas that suffer from a great shortage of bread by providing wheat flour to bakeries and distributing free bread to beneficiaries within the distribution points.
The project aims to support bakeries with 936 tons of imported wheat flour for bread and distribute bread to the most vulnerable IDPs in camps, IDPs and host populations in the local communities in Jenderes on a daily basis for 6 days a week for 8 consecutive months.
The project provides services to approximately 3,800 families, with an average of 5 members per family (19,238 individuals), in ten villages and 11 camps around the city of Jenderes.
As the distribution points are distributed over 21 distribution points (Jenderes – Deir Ballut – Al-Bada – Haj Iskandar – Jalama – Kafr Safra – Al-Muhammadiyah – Al-Nasriya – Tal Salur – Diwan Fawqani – Ishkan Gharbi – Zinda).
