Through the implementation of this project, SADAD Humanitarian Organization aims to support 1,000 female-headed families who own agricultural holdings of less than 0.5 hectares of land planted with olive trees, which is equivalent to 2,000 dunams, at an average rate of 2 dunams per family, by providing agricultural services. integrated.
This project contributes effectively to returning some areas planted with olive trees to service and increasing their productivity, thus improving livelihoods and food security, finding income-generating means for the targeted families, in addition to supporting the agricultural sector and providing job opportunities in the region for many workers during the life of the project, by improving agricultural productivity. Livelihood support.
The project offers many services, the most important of which are:
– Implementing agricultural interventions through technical pruning, insect control, foliar feeding, securing harvesting workshops, providing paid vouchers to extract oil from the resulting crop, in addition to training 90 beneficiaries on the basics and methods of technical pruning.
Providing 410 beneficiaries, according to predetermined criteria, with income-generating activities and businesses related to agricultural activities.
The project targets a geographic area consisting of 15 villages in the southern countryside of Idlib (Joseph- Arnabeh- Balyoun- Ain Larouz- Maarata- Tramla- Jabala- Al-Faqia- Kafar Sijna- Karsa- Maarat Mater- Al-Naqeer- Sheikh Mustafa- Maarat Harmah- Maarat al-Sin).
