The project to provide life-saving emergency food baskets for the most vulnerable and newly displaced people in Salqin aims to provide 1,600 food baskets weighing 78.3 kg (2,100 calories per family member) to the most vulnerable families, as the number of beneficiaries reached 11,500.

The food basket included (rice – flour – vegetable obesity – beans – grain – salt – chickpeas – vermicelli – bulgur – olive oil – sunflower oil – sugar – tomato molasses – canned food – tuna – pasta – lentils).

The project targets 5 villages in the Salqin area in the northern countryside of Idlib (Azmarin – Tal Ammar – Al-Saadia – Kafr Hind – Abu Talha), including informal camps that were established personally.

  While priority was given to families headed by women, girls, including pregnant and lactating women, the elderly, the disabled or people with chronic diseases, with a focus on unaccompanied persons and separated children.
