This project effectively addresses all the basic and necessary educational needs of students affected by the war in Syria within 9 villages in Idlib governorate.
The project aims to enhance students’ access to a safe educational environment, in addition to improving the quality and quality of this educational environment and integrating education services with child protection services by focusing on support Psychological and social activities for schoolchildren, and raising awareness about children’s rights, especially the right to education, by targeting parents and the entire host community.
The targeted area is 9 villages in the southern countryside of Idlib in Idlib Governorate (Qouqfin- Al-Faqee’- Kafr Musa- Kawkaba- South Rasha- North Rasha- Shorlin- Tarmala) to support 12 schools belonging to these villages based on an assessment of the needs of SADAD Organization in the targeted area.
Several activities have been implemented through the project, including:
– Carrying out simple renovations and repairs for 12 schools according to the needs of each school and based on an assessment of the damages in these schools, taking into account gender standards after implementing the repairs and taking into account the issue of children with disabilities.
– Providing schools with operating costs, heaters and fuel
– Supporting the educational process by providing stationery and teaching aids to 2,338 students.
– Providing the teaching and educational staff with monthly incentives
– Providing male and female students with psychological and social support directed by a team of psychological and social support workers.
