Sadad Humanitarian Organization operates through the project “Continuation of Providing Comprehensive and Integrated Education Services and Sanitation Services,” funded by the #AFNS to support the educational process for 11 earthquake-affected schools in Al-Dana camps. The goal is to ensure access to comprehensive quality education, alongside essential child protection and sanitation services in the camps.
Project activities include:
- Conducting minor repairs in 7 schools to create a conducive learning environment.
- Providing comprehensive and high-quality formal education services to 7,448 displaced children (3,328 boys and 4,120 girls), including 241 children with disabilities, in 11 schools, along with educational materials during the academic year 2023-2024.
- Offering mental health and psychosocial support, awareness services, and referral services to 7,448 children (3,328 boys and 4,120 girls), including 241 children with disabilities enrolled in formal education in 11 socially disadvantaged schools. This includes raising awareness and engaging with 550 caregivers about child protection risks.
- Supplying schools with clean drinking water and cleaning materials, along with providing informative messages on personal safety and preventive measures against cholera.
