The project will contribute to supporting immediate and decisive measures to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by providing life-saving humanitarian aid such as in-kind food assistance to vulnerable people affected by COVID-19 during the treatment period as well as health staff in five COVID-19 Community Treatment Centers (CCTCs) located in the sub-districts of (Maarat Misrin, Al-Atareb and Darat Izza), which have been affected by the spread of COVID-19 in northwest Syria.

The project aims to distribute 18,900 food baskets and 39,060 cooked meals to those recovering and injured from the Corona pandemic, in addition to the medical staff in northwestern Syria, through the distribution of ready-to-eat baskets or RTEs within five treatment centers.

Targeting 4,700 beneficiaries distributed among the five centers during the 15-day quarantine period, in addition to the medical and administrative staff supervising them, in order to enhance and preserve their immunity.
